Yala and Udawalawe National Parks, which are home to leopards, elephants and countless bird species, offer inimitable wildlife experiences. Sri Lanka is situated along the migratory routes of many species of whales, including blue whales, sperm whales and a variety of dolphins, making it the perfect vantage point for whale watching.
The best time to visit Sri Lanka is generally considered to be between December and mid-April.
